Being a fashion icon means you can wear whatever you want—and Rihanna, this year's CFDA Fashion Icon, doesn't take this privilege lightly. Last night, the songstress took to the New York City streets for a night out in her underwear—or a bra top and a pair of men's boxer shorts to be exact—giving credit to her stylist, Mel Ottenberg, when he was quoted saying Rihanna had literally run out of clothes to wear. Earlier this month Rihanna also rocked another look that's usually reserved for the boudoir, a long pink satin slip. Despite showing off her collection of intimates, the Bajan beauty always keeps it slightly covered up with a classic take on the denim jacket. Going out in your underwear never looked so chic.
