Update, 11/18: It's been 11 years since Sarah Jessica Parker graced the small screen for a little show called Sex And The City, but the actress is finally making her big TV return. Finally ready to leave Carrie Bradshaw's Manolos behind, the first image from the actress's upcoming HBO series, Divorce, has officially been released. The new series, which was announced back in April, will chronicle a New York couple's very drawn-out divorce. In the first teaser photo, SJP is seen standing in the middle of a New York City street wearing a pensive look and a chic pink coat—and we also can't help but notice she's looking very Carrie Bradshaw-esque.
No official release date has been announced yet, but the show is set to debut sometime in 2016.
Original Artice, 4/17/15: Sex and the City fans rejoice, Sarah Jessica Parker is set to make her TV return with a new series on HBO. Rumors of SJP's new comedy series circulated back in December, but now the sitcom titled Divorce has officially been picked up by the network, Variety confirms.
Parker will not only star in Divorce, the actress will also exec produce the new half-hour show which chronicles the story of one couple's very drawn-out divorce. The new series will be filmed in New York and also star Thomas Haden Church (as SJP's on-screen husband), Molly Shannon and Talia Balsam (who will both play SJP's girlfriends).
No official premiere date has been announced at this time but Divorce is set to begin filming in New York this year—let the on-set fashion show begin.
